Support workforce advocacy in Ward 8
April 26th, 2012
Please join our partner, The Ward 8 Workforce Development Council on April 30th for a meeting of the council’s Advocacy Workgroup.
The Ward 8 Workforce Council has worked on the forefront of combating joblessness in Ward 8. The creation of an advocacy plan is central to the mission and strategic plan of the Workforce Council. The plan must promote economic opportunities and access to quality education and training for Ward 8 residents.
Civic leaders, Business owners in Ward 8, Clergy, service providers, and advocates are strongly encouraged to attend. Everyone is welcomed, but we encourage sustained participation with the council.
